Hubby loves these. He originally wanted red converse, but they are so narrow he couldn’t wear them. Palladium to the rescue! They are plenty wide and look better than the converse. Thank you!

8 years ago, I switched to barefoot style, minimalist shoes with wide toe boxes. I’ve also gone through training in yoga and have a more consistent yoga practice. These factors combined have led to my feet being stronger, more flexible, and wider. As a person with fairly short legs, though, I was really missing shoes with a bit of platform to help me reach the ground when I’m sitting in chairs, especially on long flights. After going on my first two 10+ hour flights as an adult this summer, I realized just how much discomfort I feel in my hips, back, and neck when I struggle to reach the ground while seated! I’m 5’3”, which I realize isn’t that short, but I think my legs are proportionately short, so when I sit with my back against most chairs, my legs dangle, and my back and core engage to help hold my body upright, which leads to me feeling physically exhausted faster than when I can use my legs to press against the floor to hold me up. With these shoes, I’m finding it much easier to sit comfortably in most situations, especially my car. I love that the toe box is plenty wide, and I don’t experience any rubbing on the sides of my feet or scrunching up of my little toes. Fingers crossed the platform on these shoes helps on plane rides. I think I will still need to find a way to fill the gap in space between the back of the seat and my back for optimal comfort and posture. I definitely recommend these shoes for people like me who want room for natural foot movement and could benefit from a little height. These shoes are especially comfortable on hard surfaces like concrete. Last note: I like the look of Converse but I don’t think their style is foot shaped - it’s very narrow. I like that these shoes have a similar look to Converse while leaving room for my feet to move naturally. P.S. I tried a foot hammock on the plane, and that didn’t help. It just caused my legs to rotate toward each other, creating a different kind of discomfort in my hips and low back.

Size 12 runs smaller than size 12 in the boots. I think I need a 13 in these, other than that, nice shoes.
As usual, they fit true to size, are expertly constructed, and are breaking in perfectly. This is my sixth pair of Palladium shoes. They won’t be the last.
I already had a pair of Baggy boots, which I’ve taken on several trips involving lots of walking. The last trip was hot, and I wanted a pair of light and low canvas sneakers that could pair with everyday outfits and also not look too out of place with a button-down and jeans at a restaurant. These look great and feel good (though I haven’t walked for miles in them yet, like I usually do on vacation). Best part: my hipster college kid likes them, so this middle-aged guy feels a little cool in them.

A little snug with medium weight socks, otherwise comfortable. Really like them....although first day that I wore them I fell into a pit of really rank water. I hope after all the cleaning I have done they are the same comfortable wearing shoes.
i have these in another color and bought 2 other pair as gifts for my daughters in some of the fun colors. We all love them for the comfort and cuteness!! True to fit. You do have to wear socks with them, that come up higher than the shoe as they do tend to rub slightly on the back above the heel.

I love these shoes and the story behind them! I used to wear Palladium’s when I taught and found them very comfortable. Now that I’m retired and have just had knee replacement surgery I find them just as comfortable and easy to wear.

Like most of my Palladium shoes/boots, i really love the comfort and look of my new shoes. The only reason i am not giving it a 5 is because they do rub the back of my heal slightly so i have to make sure i wear a taller sock.
