I want to love these but the tread needs a rework. I have a feeling that this is what makes the shoe lightweight, but I’d prefer the standard, thick tread for safety and durability. I’ve used these boots for a single year of hiking 14ers in Colorado and they are falling apart, while my Hi’s (5 years old) and Snow’s (2 years old) have not given me any problem at all. The foam tread on this style do not hold up and are not a safe option for waterfall hiking nor ascending/descending on scree; I’ve slipped multiple times while wearing these boots on the type of terrain they’re advertised for. Please update the treads because I really want to love these like I do my two other pairs of Palladium boots 🙏🏻
